Full Web Integration
Continue working with supported tournament data through the Chess-Publisher web platform while keeping the desktop environment part of the same workflow.
A major Chess-Publisher update is planned for October 2026, introducing the next stage of connected tournament management across desktop, web and mobile. The October release is being built around full web integration, mobile-friendly player registration, secure access with a personal Arbiter / Organizer token, synchronized tournament workflows and controlled Pull Changes.
The next stage
The goal is simple: make tournament management faster, more flexible and available wherever an Arbiter or Organizer needs it — from the tournament hall, the registration desk, a laptop at home, or directly from a mobile phone.
Chess-Publisher is evolving from a desktop tournament application into a connected tournament management ecosystem, while keeping the familiar local workflow available.

A mobile-friendly environment is being designed for fast player registration, starting-list review and essential tournament management from a phone or tablet.
Secure personal access will connect authorized Arbiters and Organizers with their tournament workspace across supported devices.
A controlled synchronization workflow is planned so the latest tournament changes can be reviewed and brought back into the active workspace safely.
Publish and update tournament information online without repeatedly moving files manually between computers and services.
Access and manage multiple tournaments under the same authorized account, with a clear separation between tournament workspaces.
Desktop + Cloud + Web
The desktop application will remain fully usable as the primary local tournament environment. The cloud is not intended to replace local tournament management — it extends it with secure access, mobility and synchronized workflows.
A tournament can remain available locally while a synchronized copy provides authorized access through the web platform. The aim is to combine the reliability of desktop tournament management with the flexibility of a modern connected workspace.
Tournament management, player registration, publishing and online presentation are moving toward becoming parts of the same workflow.
Less file handling
Instead of exporting files, sending them to yourself and trying to determine which copy is the newest, Chess-Publisher is moving toward a synchronized tournament workspace.
The planned October workflow includes secure access, tournament upload, desktop/web synchronization, mobile-friendly registration, controlled Pull Changes, synchronization protection and online publishing.
More mobility. Less file handling. Faster registration. Safer synchronization. One connected tournament environment.
